Question

Hello

My name is E. H. I'm 31 years old and I have a Swiss driving license (B), converted from Sweden. I'm interested in learning how to ride a motorbike. My goal is to get the A unrestricted license before next summer, so I can go on a motorbike holiday with friends. I have been reading on the Internet on how to make this and then I found your website (via englishforum.ch).

My answer to E.H.'s question

Hi E.

English is no problem for me: Probably every third student driver is English speaking… Here my answer:

I'm a bit confused on how the actual process is, it seems like I need to:

For the first date with me you need no licence, no helmet, no clothing – just good shoes and CHF 210 in your pocket! We will try on a small school motorcycle how it runs and then you have the choice to go

Directly on the Cat. A unlimited or

First start with Cat. A1 to get some experience and change then to a bigger machine
.

1. Get a L-Fahrausweis for 4 months

2. Do a "Praktische Grundschulung" for 12 hours (minimum)

This is training in a group where you must already must know how to ride a mc

3. Get the L-Fahrausweis extended for 12 months

When you reach the goal of this part: correct!

4. Learn how to ride :-)

Do a lot of practice, taking some more indivdual lessons (non mandatory, but without no way to pass the test!)

5. Get a motorbike and practice

Together above

6. Make the practical test

after a good preparation and beeing an experienced rider (take place with the examiner on the back seat, means very high level test)

I was wondering if this is correct and if you can help me with steps 1 to 4?

I am helping through all 6 points and before!

Thank you and best regards

E.

If you have any more questions please let me know or come to me shop to speak with me (before you should call)
Kind regards
